a fragile flower
thin and frail
translucent petals
swaying in the breeze
beneath the albino sun
of a lonesome tundra
a new self
sprouts through the wreckage
of your former life
resurrection
of eternal being
i must tread lightly
on the frozen plains
nurture carefully
for too much water
will drown the roots
shield you from the wind
breathe my warmth upon you
in the night
